How do you think we feel? Once we see our mates in their uniforms? When we see their parents with them? walking them to school?

How do you think we feel? Once we see mates our out there, protesting for their rights? And we take up our saddle to join the fight But then get reminded, DO YOU EVEN HAVE RIGHTS?

How do you think we feel? When we see you at age nine Only for you to come back to the area and twenty-five And see us still begging alms

How do you think we feel? Once we see our junior ones in cars? With their car’s honk honk from the alarm Forcing us off the road path

Do you understand how it feels? If you don’t, please stay on your lane.
